About Al-Furqan School

Al-Furqan Part-Time School is an educational institution that has been serving the Ottawa community since 2003. Beginning with nearly 200 students, the school experienced steady growth and expanded its programs to meet the needs of families seeking part-time Islamic education for their children. Today, Al-Furqan serves more than 500 students across multiple locations in Ottawa, offering accessible learning opportunities to families throughout the city. Programs are currently delivered through the After Abraar and West 1 Program at Abraar Elementary School, the West 2 Program at Sacred Heart High School in Stittsville, and the East Program at St. Patrick’s High School. The school was officially registered in 2004, when a dedicated school board was established to oversee its development and operations. Since then, the board has worked to support the school's growth, strengthen its educational programs, and ensure a high-quality learning experience for students. Through its multi-location approach and long-standing presence in the community, Al-Furqan Part-Time School continues to provide educational programs that support students in their academic, personal, and faith-based development.
