SNMC

South Nepean Muslim Community is a well‑established mosque and non‑profit Muslim organization serving the Barrhaven and greater Ottawa area. At its core, SNMC offers the five daily prayers, Friday Jummah, Taraweeh during Ramadan, and Eid prayers, along with accessible prayer halls for men and women. The centre includes ample facilities such as classrooms for Islamic education, a library, and multi‑purpose halls that support community events and activities. Beyond prayer services, SNMC is active in spiritual development, educational programming, and social support. It runs Quran and Islamic studies classes, youth programs, family counselling, marriage services, and senior support. The centre also organizes community outreach such as workshops, interfaith events, charity drives, and seasonal programs, reflecting its focus on inclusivity and service.
