The Islamic Society of Gloucester is a longstanding mosque and community centre serving Muslims in the Gloucester area of Ottawa. It provides a welcoming space for daily prayers, Jum’ah services, and community gatherings, helping meet both spiritual and social needs.

Worship services include the five daily prayers and Friday congregational prayer with khutbah, and the mosque regularly shares updates on prayer schedules and community events. Educational and spiritual programs, such as Quran reading classes, youth programs, and Quran tafseer sessions, help support members of all ages in strengthening their faith.

In addition to prayer services, the centre also hosts family and youth activities, community events, and marriage counselling services, promoting social connection alongside religious life. Over the years, the society has grown into a hub for diverse Muslim families, providing opportunities for learning, reflection, and shared experiences.

The Islamic Society of Gloucester has been part of the community for decades, originating from small prayer gatherings and evolving into a permanent mosque with a vision to serve the religious, educational, and social needs of the local Muslim population.
